INTRODUCTION: Grosse Pointe Baseball, headed up by former Detroit Tiger Dave Bergman, is sponsoring the Thirteenth Annual Michigan High School Baseball Showcase. The idea is to provide an opportunity for Michigan's top high school players who are serious about playing at the next level to showcase their skills in front of Midwest college coaches and pro scouts.
MICHIGAN HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL COACHES: Our purpose is to provide a real service to Michigan high school players and college coaches in the Midwest. We are looking to the high school Varsity coaches to get out the word to your players who have the interest and ability to play at the college level. Please encourage your players who are serious about their future in baseball to sign up ASAP. We have filled up with 156 players and a long waiting list every year. Just like the colleges and pros, we are looking for quality pitchers! You men know who these players are. Please encourage their attendance. Let us know if you wish to attend too. Note: this is not a private fundraiser. Profits net of expenses go to Grosse Pointe Redbirds amateur baseball teams, age 15-18.
COACHES: PLEASE DIRECT YOUR PLAYERS TO OUR WEBSITE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION AT: michiganbaseballshowcase.com
